John J. Brennan is Chairman Emeritus and Senior Advisor of The Vanguard Group, Inc. Vanguard is one of the world’s largest investment companies. Headquartered in Malvern, Pennsylvania, with current assets of more than $4 trillion. Mr. Brennan joined Vanguard in July 1982. He was elected President in 1989, served as Chief Executive Officer from 1996 to 2008 and Chairman of the Board from 1998 to 2009.

Mr. Brennan is the lead director of General Electric Company; a director of the American Express Company; a director of Guardian Life Insurance Company; Chairman of the Board of Trustees and a fellow of the University of Notre Dame; Chairman of the Vanguard Charitable Endowment Program; a member of The Joint CFTC-SEC Advisory Committee on Emerging Regulatory Issues; a member of the Pennsylvania Early Learning Investment Commission; co-chair of the ReadyNation CEO Task Force on Early Childhood; Chairman of Catholic Investment Services; a founding trustee of King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST); past Chairman of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, the Financial Accounting Foundation; and the Investment Company Institute.

Mr. Brennan graduated from Dartmouth College and received a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School. He has received honorary degrees from Curry College and Drexel University.

Charles I. Clough, Jr. is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Clough Capital, a Boston-based investment firm with over $3.4 billion in assets under management. He has been active in the securities and investment business for over 50 years. Prior to founding Clough Capital, Chuck served as the Chief Global Investment Strategist at Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc. advising many of the world’s top institutions and investors on portfolio strategy. He was named to the Institutional Investor All-America Research Team for 12 consecutive years and earned a place as the top ranked strategist on Wall Street on three separate occasions. Chuck graduated magna cum laude with a major in history from Boston College and earned an MBA at the University of Chicago. He has maintained a Chartered Financial Analyst® designation since 1979. He is an ordained permanent deacon in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston and serves at his local parish in Concord, MA
